Assistant Professor

Mr Albin is a dedicated academic with strong engagement in teaching, research, and scholarly publication. He has submitted his PhD thesis in Psychology at Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore, and holds a master’s degree in psychology from the Central University of Haryana. He has qualified UGC NET two times, GATE and Kerala SET. His academic and research interests include Cognitive Psychology, Organisational Psychology, Social Psychology, and Positive Psychology, with a focused emphasis on metacognition, resilience, and mental health in high-stress occupational groups, particularly healthcare professionals and first responders. Mr Albin has previously served as an Assistant Professor at Jain (Deemed to be) University, Kochi, and as an Assistant Professor (Junior) at Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore, where he was actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, academic research, student mentoring, and scholarly publishing. He has authored multiple Scopus-indexed research publications in reputed peer-reviewed journals and serves as a Peer Reviewer for international journals.
