Manipal Law School, hosted MILANA 2025 – Emerging Trends in Construction Law on 13 December 2025, providing a scholarly platform for deliberation on evolving issues in construction law, technology, and dispute resolution. The event witnessed participation from judges, academicians, legal practitioners, engineers, and students, fostering meaningful interdisciplinary engagement.
The programme was graced by the Chief Guest, Dr Dinesh Hegde, District Judge and Director, Arbitration & Conciliation Centre, Bengaluru, Prof. R. Venkat, Program Chair of Construction Law and Coordinator of the Construction Law Research Centre, Prof. Dr Sunil John, and Mr. H.S. Raju, along with distinguished dignitaries.
The event featured two academic panel discussions focusing on technology-driven legal education, industry collaboration, curriculum innovation, and experiential learning. A significant milestone was the inauguration of CLAFI (Construction Law and ADR Forum of India), a national forum dedicated to promoting research, best practices, and collaboration among legal and technical professionals.
