CURRENT ACADEMIC ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

    Pavan is an Alumni of Bangalore University and University of Law College, Bengaluru. He has completed his BAL, LLB from Bangalore University and LLM from University Law College, Bengaluru under the specialization Constitutional and Administrative Law.

    Prior to Manipal law school, Pavan has academic experience at Bangalore Institute of Legal Studies, Bengaluru and Ramaiah College of Law where he was heading Internship, Placement, Legal Aid clubs. He has imparted legal education to Under Graduate and Post Graduate students and his areas of interest include Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Environmental Law, Banking Law, Human Rights, Right to Information, Family Laws, Contract, Civil Procedure Code, Intellectual Property Rights, Professional Ethics, Arbitration, Conciliation, Mediation and Negotiation.

    Pavan is pursuing his Ph.D from REVA University, Bengaluru. He has published articles in reputed journals at National Law School, Bengaluru, Central University of Kerala, Scopus and UGC care. He has chaired various moot court competitions as a judge in preliminary rounds and quarter finals. He has presented his research papers at national and international conferences.

    Pavan is an external evaluator of examinations at Dayanand Sagar University and Ambedkar School of Economics, Bengaluru.

    Before being part of academics, Pavan was a proficient lawyer litigating at various courts including the High Court of Karnataka, he used to handle various matters pertaining to land laws and motor vehicle accidents.

    Pavan was also part of Corporate and he was associated with HSBC Bank, Bengaluru. He was part of the legal team which vetted various agreements and contracts with respect to bullion, forex and derivatives.

    At present, Pavan is connected with Manipal Law School and he is teaching the undergraduate students at Manipal Law School.
