MIT Pravesh 2026

B.Tech. Orientation Program

Start Date: July 15, 2026

End Date: July 17, 2026

As part of MIT Pravesh 2026, the Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT), a constituent unit of MAHE, will organize the B.Tech. Orientation Program 2026 for newly admitted students on 15 and 17 July 2026. The programme is designed to warmly welcome freshers into the MIT community and introduce them to the institute's rich legacy of academic excellence, innovation, leadership, and holistic development.

A major highlight of the orientation will be interactions with four distinguished MIT alumni who have excelled in diverse professional fields. On 15 July, Ms. Priya Mallya (Computer Science, 1999–2003), Managing Director at Accenture, Bengaluru, and Mr. Satyam Mishra (Information Technology, 2009–2014), recipient of the prestigious Phyllis Strimling Award from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, will address the newly admitted students, sharing their professional journeys and inspiring them to pursue excellence, innovation, and meaningful impact.

On 17 July, Ms. Shagun Dwivedi (Chemical Engineering, 2010–2014), Senior Vice President – Revenue & Growth at Deconstruct, Bengaluru, and Mr. Chandra Bhushan (Civil Engineering, 1989–1993), CEO of the International Forum for Environment, Sustainability & Technology (iFOREST), New Delhi, will interact with the students and share their experiences in leadership, entrepreneurship, sustainability, and nation-building.

The orientation programme and its distinguished guest speakers are expected to motivate the incoming batch to embrace learning, leadership, and lifelong growth, marking the beginning of a transformative academic journey at MIT as the institute proudly marches towards its 70th year.
