MCOPS Welcomes Dr Vibhuti Sharma!

Dr. Vibhuti Sharma  joins MCOPS as a National Postdoctoral Fellow (NPDF) under the ANRF-NPDF scheme, Government of India, mentored by Principal, Dr. Srinivas Mutalik.

Dr. Sharma’s research expertise lies in cardiovascular disease biology, with a strong focus on the mechanisms of cardiac fibrosis and related complications. She brings valuable experience from her PhD training at PGIMER, Chandigarh, where she worked at the interface of basic and clinical research, including genomics, pathology, and cell biology. She also had a short-term postdoctoral stint at IISER Mohali, where she worked on the epigenetic regulation of diabetic wound healing.

Building on Dr. Srinivas Mutalik’s expertise in novel drug delivery, we look forward to Dr. Vibhuti’s contributions in bridging translational cardiovascular research with advanced delivery systems. We wish her every success!
