Dr. Dhirendra Kumar Pandey is presently associated with the Department of Earth and Environmental Science at K.S.K.V. Kachchh University. His area of expertise lies in Paleontology. He is currently engaged in a research project titled 'Integrated stratigraphy of the Upper Kimmeridgian, Kachchh Basin,' as well as 'Ecosystem evolution on the Indian continental shelf in the Jurassic: a multidisciplinary approach,' which is a collaborative international project supported by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation.
