CLINICAL OBSERVERSHIP PROGRAM OF STUDENTS OF MALMO UNIVERSITY, SWEDEN
Three students of Malmo University, Sweden had come for observership programme at Manipal College of Nursing, MAHE, Manipal for the duration of 4 weeks from 3rd February to 27th February 2020 with the objectives to observe the primary health care in India. As a part of this programme, the students had postings in various areas of public health and maternal health care settings including the department of Yoga, Ayurveda and Psychiatric centres (ASARE & Hombelaku). These students also had a home visit in a rural community and visited Anganwadi centre, Primary Health Centre, Community health centre, Goretti Hospital & Spandana Rehabilitation centre. Students have appreciated the experience which they have received from Manipal College of Nursing, Manipal.
The programme was coordinated by Mrs. Jeyalakshmi K., Asst. Professor & Dr. Shashidhara Y N, HoD, Department Community Health Nursing, MCON, Manipal.
