Dr Kumar Sumit (Faculty, Department of Global Public Health Policy and Governance [GPHPG], Prasanna School of Public Health [PSPH], Manipal Academy of Higher Education [MAHE], Manipal) had the privilege of serving as a Judge for the Scientific Paper Presentations at Manipal Quest 2.0 – The MAHE Inter-Health Sciences National Postgraduate Research Conference, held on September 21, 2025. It was an honour for him to share this responsibility with his esteemed colleague, Dr Eshwari K (Associate Professor, Department of Community Medicine, KMC, MAHE, Manipal). Together, they had the opportunity to engage with a series of compelling research presentations that truly reflected the promise and future of health sciences in India.
This event not only offered a distinguished platform for students to present, refine, and defend their research, but also fostered interdisciplinary dialogue, collaboration, and innovation in addressing some of the most pressing challenges in public health and beyond.
He extended his heartfelt congratulations to all the participants for their enthusiastic participation, and sincere appreciation to the organisers for curating such a high-calibre academic experience. He looks forward to many more such enriching academic engagements.
