Dr Kumar Sumit (Faculty, Department of Global Public Health Policy and Governance [GPHPG], Prasanna School of Public Health [PSPH], Manipal) was invited as a resource person to deliver a Guest Lecture on “From Research Topic to Research and Dissertation: Step-by-Step Guidance” on October 29, 2025 at Alliance University, Bengaluru. The event was organised by the Department of Psychology, Alliance School of Liberal Arts, Alliance University, Bengaluru.

For Dr Kumar Sumit, Engaging with such inquisitive minds and aspiring researchers was truly inspiring. The discussions were intellectually stimulating, and the students’ enthusiasm reaffirmed the importance of nurturing critical thinking and methodological rigour in academic research.
