Ms Ida D’Souza (Faculty, Department of Social and Health Innovation [DSHI], PSPH, Manipal) as a Chief Guest addressed the MBA students of Manel Srinivas Nayak Institute of Management (MSNIM), Besant Campus, Bondel, Mangaluru at 10:00 hours IST on December 10, 2025 in the Swarna Academy Hall delivering a Guest Talk as part of the Human Rights Day celebration, offering an insightful session on “From Essential to Self-Actualisation – the Gen Z Navigation of Human Rights.” The interaction highlighted how young adults can understand and exercise their rights in today’s changing social environment.
As part of their commitment to promoting awareness, dignity, and justice for all, MSNIM in association with IQAC organised a programme to commemorate Human Rights Day on December 10, 2025. Ms Ida D’Souza’s remarkable contributions as a child rights activist, along with her continued efforts to empower and safeguard vulnerable communities, made her an inspiring role model for their students and participants. Her presence greatly enriched the programme and motivated everyone present to uphold and champion human rights in their own spheres.
