A meeting with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi was conducted (Virtual event)  on Monday, May 30, 2022 (09:00 hours IST to 13:00 hours IST) on the premises of the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Mangaluru, Dakshina Kannada in the context of the ‘PM Cares for Children Scheme’ regarding the release of funds for orphaned children during the covid period (district level national programme). 11 children participated in the programme. The meeting was held regarding the release of funds for the PM Cares for Children Scheme for the Victims during Covid times (children who lost both their parents).

Ms Ida D’Souza (VSO Coordinator; Faculty, MSW Programme, Department of Global Health; Prasanna School of Public Health) being a member of the Juvenile Justice Board participated in the event as an invitee.
