Ms Vinitha Serrao (PhD Research Scholar, PSPH, Manipal) received the Prof David Hanagal Best Paper Award at the Eleventh International Conference on Statistics for the Twenty-First Century (ICSTC 2025) on December 16, 2025 for her paper titled "Empirical Likelihood Estimation for the ZDGG-INAR(1) Model for Analysing Short Length Time Series with Multiple Features".

The Conference was organised by the International Statistical Fraternity (ISF) in association with the Department of Statistics, School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, University of Kerala, Kariavattom, American Statistical Association (ASA), Indian Society for Probability and Statistics (ISPS), Kerala Statistical Association (KSA) at the Department of Statistics, School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, University of Kerala, Kariavattom from December 16 to 19, 2025.
