The workshop was formally inaugurated by the chief guest of the program Dr Dilip G Naik, Dean, MCODS Mangalore.

Dr Siddarth Shetty, Prof. and Head, Department of Orthodontics, MCODS Mangalore welcomed the gathering. The inaugural sessions were also attended by Associate Deans Dr Mohan  Baliga and Dr Kundabala Kamath, Prof. (Dr) Rohan Mascarenhas Secretary, MMOAA and other dignitaries. The CDE resource person was Prof. (Dr) Venkateshwaran, Prof. and HOD, Dept of Orthodontics, Chettinad Dental College, Chennai. The  topics  comprised of lectures on “Microimplants in Orthodontics” and “Management of Skeletal Malocclusions."

The program was held at MCODS, Attavar Campus, lecture hall I.
