A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Mangalore (a constituent college of Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal) and Faculty of Dentistry, Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia. This was signed by Dr. H. Vinod Bhat, Pro Vice Chancellor, Manipal Academy of Higher Education and the Vice Chancellor of Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia. This is a premier Malaysian government dental institution known for its excellence in academic and research activities. Both the colleges will have institutional exchange of faculty and students and will have a joint program in development of teaching and research innovations and commercialization. Dr. Dilip Nayak, Dean Manipal College Of Dental Sciences, Mangalore stated that as a first step, students of MCODS, Mangalore have been invited for the Malaysian National Student Conference to be held at Kuala Lumpur in April, 2015.
