The Department of Periodontology, MCODS, Mangalore, successfully organized the Indian Society of Periodontology Professional Enrichment Program on March 3, 2025. The event was graced by Chief Guest Dr. Nillan Shetty, President of IDA Dakshina Kannada, and Guest of Honour Dr. Biju Thomas, Former President of ISP.

The program featured insightful workshops by renowned experts. Dr. Rakshith Hegde, Professor in the Department of Prosthodontics at AB Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences, conducted a comprehensive workshop on implant placement techniques. Dr. Harikumar Kanakkath, Professor and Head of Periodontology at GDC Calicut, led a workshop on soft tissue augmentation, focusing on periodontal esthetics and advanced surgical procedures.

The event, held at the Medical Education Room, KMC Central Library, was conducted in collaboration with ISP (Dakshina Kannada Study Group) and IDA Dakshina Kannada. It provided a valuable learning experience for professionals and students in periodontology and implant dentistry.
