Scientific poster presentation had a series of 73 posters spanning varied fields such as Cancer stem cell markers, Immunotherapy, New Biomarkers and Exfoliative cytology, among which  Dr. Shweta Yellapurkar has received first prize for poster titled “Laminin and inflammation- as modulators of oral squamous cell carcinoma” in original study category.

Dr Nakul Uppal, Associate Professor, Dept of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, has won the First prize for the poster titled ‘Electronic olfaction: a future tool to screen for oral cancer in rural populations’ at International Symposium of Head and Neck Tumors held  from 3-4 Oct 2015 at Dr TMA Pai Conference Hall, Manipal.
