A Continuing professional development program on Individually trained oral prophylaxis (ITOP) was conducted by the Dept of Periodontology MCODS, Mangalore on 22 Feb 2018 at Lecture hall-1 in Atttavar campus. Dr Dilip Nayak Dean MCODS Mangalore presided over the function.Dr Galabov Lyubomir from the Dentistry Department at the Medical Academy in Sofia, Bulgaria and brand manager for Curaprox spoke on the importance of selecting the right oral hygiene aids for the maintanence of periodontal health. The talk was attended by 50 delegates. Following this a hands on “touch to teach session” was conducted on the correct way of using different oral hygiene techniques .
