Department of Periodontology, Manipal College Of Dental Sciences, Mangalore conducted a 2 day capsular program for the interns on “Periodontal flap techniques and suturing” on May 18 2023 to May 19 2023 .. The two day capsular program included lecture and hands on exercises  on animal models. .Lectures were conducted  on gingivectomy and flap procedures by Dr Deepa Kamath and Dr Neetha Shetty.Interns performed  hands on excercises on different incisions and suturing techniques on the animal models . 73 interns in 4 batches   participated  in the 2 day capsular program..The participants  found it to be very educative and suggested for similar capsular workshops in the future.
