As an initiative to stop the use of 'Single use plastic', following the guidelines of the University Grant Commission, MCODS, Mangalore along with KMC,Mangalore and VSO, Mangalore organised an anti-plastic campaign at Bejai,Mangalore on 28th September, 2019 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm A total of 67 students from MCODS,Mangalore along with their Cultural and VSO Coordinator, Dr.Mithun Pai participated in the campaign. It was also attended by,Dr.Ramesh Holla from KMC,Mangalore. The project saw a march for collecting all the plastic waste in and around bejai. There was distribution of pamphlets containing guidelines for permissible use of plastic and and the harmful effect of plastic as a whole to our environment. The program ended with a poster making competition for our students on the topic "Say No to Plastic".
