On this occasion a drawing competition was conducted with the theme “Healthy Smile is a Beautiful Smile” for the students of 5^th, 6^th and 7^th standards at the Dakshin Kannada Zilla Panchayat Higher Primary School, Mannagudda Mangalore. A talk on ‘importance of oral hygiene’ was given by Dr. Deepa Kamath, and Dr. Swati demonstrated the brushing techniques to the children. Around 65 students participated in the drawing competition. Drawing materials for the competition was provided to the children. The best 3 drawings were given prizes. Toothpastes were distributed to the students, which was sponsored by Colgate Palmolive Pvt Ltd.
