The programme was attended by PG students & faculty making a total of 60 participants. A very good feedback was obtained from the participants. The program was well appreciated. The participants were also credited with 12 KSDC points for the 2 day program. 

The program was conducted by faculty of our own Department, Dr. Ashwini Rao, Dr. Rajesh G, Dr. Ramya Shenoy & Dr. Mithun Pai, who led the participants on an interactive and entertaining 2 day journey of Epidemiological study designs, biostatistics, evidence based research and essentials of writing a protocol with a brief insight into Mendeley, the reference writing software. We had one guest speaker Dr. Unnikrishnan, Associate Dean of  our sister Institution, KMC, Mangalore who was very effective in his session on Ethics in Research.
