The department of Periodontology MCODS Mangalore conducted a Continuing Dental Education Program titled “Perioesthetics and Implant Dentistry” on 12th April 2019. Dr Manoj Humagain, who is an alumnus of MODS Mangalore was the resource person for the same. He is currently serving as the Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Periodontology and Oral Implantology, Kathmandu University School of Medical Sciences, Kathmandu, Nepal. He spoke on Lip repositioning and “Socket shielding techniques. The inaugural function was presided over by Dr Dilip G Naik, Dean MCODS Mangalore, Dr Ashita Uppoor and Dr Premalatha K Associate Deans MCODS, Mangalore. It was attended by around 70 Interns and Postgraduate students of our Institute and from neighbouring Institutes from Mangalore. The talks were well received by all.
